The Social Rewind for January 12, 2015

Are you subscribed to multiple social media networks like we are? Do you find it difficult it to keep up with all of the updates from the people you follow? Do you feel like you’re missing a lot of good information?

“The Social Rewind,” is a weekly compilation of what we thought were the most interesting, funny, or informational social media posts of the previous week. Q Source follows a variety of really fascinating companies and individuals on Twitter, Facebook & Google+ and we want to share the best of what they have to say.

Leading off this week, Workrite Ergonomics shared this post about four technology trends that will define 2015. Smart clothing. 3D printing in the kitchen. Yes, please!

Agilent Technologies’ post tells the sad, tragic story of Francium, one of the last naturally occurring elements to be discovered.

We just had to share Laughing Squid’s post of incredibly beautiful photos of China’s 31st Harbin Ice and Snow Festival.

Nowadays, it seems most people have a connection to autism in some way (family member, co-worker’s child, etc.). This post by The Autism Society of America offers an Autism 101 Online Course for those curious to learn more about this widespread developmental disability.

The photo of Bill Gates drinking a glass of water is intriguing. But read this post by Mashable to learn all about how Gates wants to “turn poop into water.”
