5.8 Earthquake in Virginia Felt All the Way at Q Source

The 5.8 (possibly 5.9) magnitude earthquake that hit Virginia today at around 1:51 in the afternoon was felt even at Q Source, located in Bohemia, NY (on Long Island). Workers reported computer screens shaking and small items hanging from shelves swinging back and forth.

"I thought something was wrong with my eyes," reports one employee in the web department. "My screen started to move from side to side. It was weird!"

At the time of this writing, the U.S. Geological Survey reported the location at 37.975°N, 77.969°W at a depth of 1 km (~0.6 mile).

There were also several tweets from @NYCAviation of airport closures and evacuations at New York City area airports.
